We had so much fun designing our “Scottish Highlands Gathering” table for this year’s Yvonne Leslie Pottery Luncheon. Even more exciting were the guests enthusiasm and our generous donors who helped us raise much needed funds for the Mt Clemens Crocker House Museum and Gardens.

Strawberry Cheers exists to rescue and reimagine beautiful things from the past—giving vintage objects a new purpose at the table and in community. Rooted in sustainability, storytelling, and shared gatherings, we curate antique and vintage pieces that invite people to slow down, sip, and connect.

For Crows & Roses, Strawberry Cheers is creating a simple yet evocative tablescape inspired by old libraries, dark florals, and ritual-worthy moments. Coupe glasses, a ruby-red punch, thoughtfully pared snacks, and vintage amberina and cadmium glass set the stage—meant to be enjoyed, not overworked. Vintage books weave through the tablescape as quiet witnesses to creativity, echoing the hand-bound volumes being brought to life during the workshop.

There’s something undeniably romantic about adding Blue Willow and Flow Blue into our Strawberry Cheers collection… each piece feels like a tiny storybook you can hold in your hands.

According to the classic Blue Willow folktale, the pattern tells the tragic love story of two star-crossed sweethearts who escape across a bridge, only to be transformed into a pair of doves. It’s whimsical, a little dramatic, and exactly the kind of old-world romance we adore bringing to your tables.

But of course, we can’t leave behind our latest Flow Blue and late-1800s transferware finds — those dreamy blurred cobalt edges and Victorian motifs give every table instant heirloom drama.

Our growing collection spans many different makers and dates from the late 1800s through mid-century, making it both historically rich and wonderfully mix-matchable for modern hosting.
