Vendor of the week S.Maggie Made

Fun fact about this vendor :
Many people ask about the company name! S stands for Sydney! My middle name is Magdelene (my great grandmothers middle name) my mom wanted to name me Magdelene and call me Maggie. My dad hated that idea and they compromised on it being my middle name! I started selling products at local shows but I didn’t want my students to be able to find me! So we went with S.MaggieMade!

Fun fact about this vendor:

Our favorite part of all of this is doing it together. You won’t find a more plant-obsessed 3-year-old boy who’s just as excited to go plant shopping as we are. You’ll be hard pressed to find a 5-year-old who already knows which plants are safe for his gecko. And there’s nothing sweeter than our 7-year-old girl, who happily peels herself out of bed at 6am on a Saturday and knows how to set up at 10x10 tent.

And the guy who keeps us all together? He’s the best truck packer there ever was, always making sure we have everything we need to get out the door and do it all again 🤍

Those cute little smiley face pots? Yes, we 3D print every single one. Our house is basically a mini print farm and a plant nursery all rolled into one… and if you ever catch us at a market or restocking our shelf, feel free to ask about the first time the Department of Agriculture showed up at our house. Let’s just say it was a riot (in the best way). 🙂

Beyond plants, we’re also obsessed with our two Australian Labradoodles. While they’ve mastered the art of not nibbling our plants, we know not every pet has the same self-control. That’s why we love helping customers understand which plants are pet-friendly/safe. Plants and pets can totally live together… some just shouldn’t become an afternoon snack
