I've been thinking about collaboration lately.

Not the big corporate kind. The small business kind.

A shared post.
A referral.
A recommendation.
A conversation over coffee.
Introducing someone to a business that might be a better fit for what they need.

Some of the best opportunities I've had didn't come from advertising. They came from relationships.

This past week, I was able to slow down a bit, which was much needed.

Bryan and I took a spur-of-the-moment drive to Sandy Hook. It's been a while since we've made the trip, and the last time we did it was on a motorcycle. Let's say Kentucky's back roads haven't gotten any less curvy. 😜

Honestly, when you can travel roads like these, there's no need to leave the state. Tail of the Dragon who?

But it's a new week, and that means restocks are in the works.

A cookie is always a sweet treat, but a personalized label can make it part of the celebration.

Whether it's a baby shower, birthday, graduation, wedding, employee appreciation event, grand opening, customer thank you, or company gathering, custom labels are a simple way to add a personal touch.

These cookies were part of a baby shower order, complete with custom labels to help celebrate the occasion. It's a small detail, but details matter.

Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend.

Whether you're spending it with family, catching up on projects, enjoying some time outdoors, or simply taking a moment to relax, I hope it's a good one.

As for me, it's a no-baking weekend. I'll be spending some time in the kitchen experimenting with a few ideas, enjoying the slower pace, and making room for a little creativity.

A little behind-the-scenes business update.

As TCY Cookies and More continues to grow, I've decided to move to a more structured restock schedule with my retail partners.

Rather than making deliveries on varying days throughout the week, restocks will now follow a more predictable schedule. This allows me to better manage production, maintain freshness, explore new product ideas, and handle the many behind-the-scenes tasks that come with running a small business.

One of the biggest lessons I've learned is that being busy isn't the same as being productive. Sometimes the best thing you can do for a business is create systems that allow it to operate more efficiently.

This change enables me to continue providing the high-quality products you've come to expect, while also giving me the flexibility to work on new ideas and future offerings.

Thank you to everyone who supports TCY Cookies and More, whether through purchases, shares, recommendations, or simply following along. Your support enables this small business to continue moving forward.
