Thanks to everyone who attended the June 8th BioBus trip to Monterey, CA! We had a great time at the Monterey Bay Aquarium and a BBQ at the Hopkins Marine Station of Stanford University Special thanks to the Biology Department for the funding at to Miguel Garcia! Look for the Summer BioBus trip coming soon!!

Have you ever wondered what a leafy sea dragon is? Do you have a secret wish to see a giant octopus or a cuttlefish? Are you a fan of sea otters? Wish to explore the beautiful city of Monterey? Miss your friends at the Hopkins Marine Station?

Then join the BioBus Trip to Monterey, CA!
The trip includes:
Transportation to and from Monterey, tickets to the fabulous Monterey Bay Aquarium, and a Happy Hour BBQ at the Hopkins Marine Station. All you need is an enthusiasm about fish and a camera!

Date: Saturday, June 8th
Time: 8:00am – 7:00pm
Cost: $30/person
The Day’s Itinerary:
8:00am – Depart from LKSC building
10:00am – Bus will arrive at the Monterey Bay Aquarium
10:00am-2:00pm – Visit the Aquarium (tickets provided), shop and eat lunch on Cannery Row, and walk by the ocean at your leisure.... then walk over to the Hopkins Marine Station
2:00pm-5:00pm ­– Join for a Happy Hour and BBQ at Hopkins Marine Station (Food and drinks provided by the BioBus and the Biology Department!)
5:00pm – Bus back to Stanford and compare pictures with everyone else
7:00pm – Arrive at LKSC building
