Hi, I am Cheri, I make the candles for Amber & Ice. When people ask me what makes candles so special? I reply "it is all about the scent". Did you know that our sense of smell is one of the strongest connections to memories. Whether cherished memories from the past or recently created.. For me our Christmas Hearth candle takes me back to the cherished memories of my childhood. I think of the big family gatherings at my Grandma and Grandpa's house hanging out with my cousins. Christmas morning with my brothers, mom and dad opening gifts and laughing. Every time I light it or walk by it, it draws me back and I get those warm loving memories. What scents whether it be candles or anything else triggers your memories? Leave a comment below, would love to hear.
