Victorian inspired tooth 🦷 rings.
These portrait rings sat unfinished for months, waiting for the right relic to find its home.
This week I finally returned to my bench. Surrounded by half-finished castings, scattered bones, stones, and forgotten ideas, I found myself staring at these settings and suddenly knew exactly what they needed.
A tooth.
Part keepsake. Part memento mori.
Victorians understood what we’ve tried so hard to forget that beauty is fleeting, time is borrowed, and every treasured thing eventually becomes a memory.
Fourteen shows down this year and I’m finally learning that rest is as important to the creative process as making. Sometimes the work isn’t at the bench. Sometimes it’s stepping away long enough for inspiration to find you again.
These will be with me next weekend with Oddities & Curiosities Expo in Baltimore
Orders are being packed and will be heading out today or tomorrow for those waiting. 🖤
