Hello dragon fans! As many of you who see my crochet toy booth at Dixon's Farmers Market at John Dixon Park, from time to time I make big colorful dragons. I haven't had any in a while and I was wondering.. what color should my next dragon be? Name a body color and a wing color and accent color for The spine down the back if you would like. Here's just a collage for a few of the dragons I've made in the past but I'm open to all suggestions!

Boy, for lack of a missing nut and screw, there was an odd sight to see ..."where is your colorful banners and canopy,Suz?!" thanks so much to my kind neighbors and Market friends who stopped by to make sure I had whatever help I needed but yes I did find the missing nut and screw for my tent as I was packing up for the day but I sure felt I bit different with no canopy over me haha. Thanks to all the nice customers and folks who stopped by to look or to purchase. I did have to pack up a bit early because it lightly started drizzling and with nothing to cover me and yarn toys I said pretty quickly... two small drops of rain? I'm gone!

See you all next weekend at John Dixon Park under my repaired canopy.

Good morning! I will be leaving shortly to set up at Dixon Farmers Market at John Dixon Park as I usually do on Saturdays and while finishing my coffee I was scrolling through happy pictures of crochet projects I've had in the past and nice memories of how far of a reach a simple crochet toy can go. this is a picture of me and a fellow vendor at the Dixon farmers market last season when we were located at Haymarket Square in Dixon. the booth name is Steel Moon Soapery, and she was a neighbor of mine at the market. I had just started doing the farmers market and pretty new to vending my crochet toys anywhere but I noticed she had some beautiful crocheted dragons so I picked up the big lovely blue dragon that I had crocheted and decided that "my dragon would like to come over and meet your dragons and play together". it sounds corny but it was a great Icebreaker and so nice to meet another crochet and gentle soul at the farmers market. you never know how people pass through your life and the smiles they bring. thanks Alyssa! so if any of my readers are stopping by to see what my selection of toys are today at the Farmers Market feel free to find her booth as well and say hi to her dragons for me. she does lovely work 😁

Just under the wire but luckily got this custom strawberry cow done for a very special baby shower this weekend. was picked up last night. I was just having a cold glass of Nestle's quick strawberry milk so I thought I'd post this picture and let everybody know that I will be at Dixon Farmers Market tomorrow at John Dixon Park of course 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. . see you there!!

awesome vendor neighbors from this past week's Christmas in July down at the farmers market will be returning on the 22nd of August. my grandson's going to love that will probably beg to come help grandma again at the market where I'm also a vendor. haha he calls her cookies "super awesome"

I would like to thank Santa Claus for coming to Christmas in July at John Dixon Park for the Dixon Farmer's Market this past saturday. it was really nice to meet you and my grandson Erza is old enough to remember your meeting and I'm sure we'll talk about it for years to come. thank you to the organizers, especially Miss Brittany who does such an awesome job, the friendly customers and amazing vendors at your event. I was so proud to let folks know that they could find my crochet toys there and many of them showed up. it was so cool! now if only the weather was a little more cool.. yikes it was a scorcher.
