We are elated to welcome co-author LEE KELLY () to celebrate the recent release of THE MIDNIGHT SHOW in conversation with Folklore co-owner, . What’s a better premise than a group of college improv comedians getting the chance to join a new late night show? 🎤📺✨

this event is free, so please be sure to RSVP using the link in our bio!

about the book:
Set in the male-dominated 1980s comedy scene, The Midnight Show follows Lillian Martin, a standout performer on a revolutionary live late-night program. At the height of the show’s success and her own rising fame, Lillian vanishes one winter night in Lower Manhattan, leaving behind decades of unsolved questions regarding foul play or personal excess. Forty years later, a journalist’s investigation into the disappearance unearths buried secrets among comedy legends. Told through interviews, articles, and transcripts, this novel explores the cutthroat world of fame and the true cost of a laugh.

perfect for fans of Daisy Jones and the Six, The Favorites, SNL
