ATTENTION REAL CHRISTMAS TREE OWNERS!! I'm breaking the lathe out again this year for some wood turning projects. That means before you throw your real Christmas tree to the curb, consider hacking a good 6-8 inches off the bottom to make a Christmas tree keepsake for years to come. Note: before being turned on a lathe it needs to thoroughly dry out for a month or so. I have ways to do that. There are other options too, like tea light or votive candle holders with the year wood burned into the front. Message for details.
