Gosh, I am terrible at taking pictures. 😫 I wish his colors came out better. He has a shimmer to him in the light. I used white with gold flake iridescent paint as a base coat and then went over it with white. His ears are a shiny ice blue too. One more coat of glaze and he will be done! I have named him Gabe the Ice Bear. 🐻‍❄️ ❤️

Happy Friday my friends!! I've been working on this little guy recently. I am hoping to have him completed by the end of the week. It's really difficult keeping up with life, creating, AND social media. I know I don't post nearly as much as I should but, I'm doing my best!

When I first moved into this place, I always found these pods and thought they looked like butterflies when they opened up. I knew that they wouldn't stay if I just painted them; they would eventually fall apart, but I would grab some pipe cleaners and make a little body in the middle with some antennas, and my kids would play with them until they broke. Fast forward a few years, with the right tools and supplies, I brought my creation to life!! I am SO happy!!
