We got a special visitor this week… Kavika!

The official 2023 American Girl doll is a Jersey girl. Kavika “Kavi” Sharma (https://www.americangirl.com/collections/girl-of-the-year-kavi), the first South Asian American Girl “Girl of the Year,” is from Metuchen!!

As the first Indian American doll, Kavi joins the company’s long line of characters that represent a wide range of backgrounds. For over 20 years, the company has annually selected and featured a character with a story that resonates with young girls today.

How cool is it that an American Girl is from our small, amazing town!
