Lavender Veil Is Coming Together 🌾→🪻

this is my favorite part to watch happen 🪻 hot oils meeting warm oils, stirring it all together, then the goat milk goes in and everything starts to blend into that soft, creamy base. Lavender Veil is really starting to take shape now ✨

lye day for Lavender Veil 🧤 I always get a little focused during this part — measuring water to the exact gram, then lye into water, never the other way around, that order really does matter every time. stirred it in and watched the temp climb fast, hit 224°F this round, which still catches me off guard even after doing this so many times. gloves stay on the whole way through, no exceptions
once that's set aside, I moved onto the double boiler — water in the pan, oils on top starting to melt down slow. next up is watching that melt come together, which is honestly one of my favorite parts to film 🖤
