Wedding Tips Part 4!✨
This is something I wish I knew when I first started as a wedding planner!
I have seen so many couples hire a company and by the end of the night they are so upset by the outcome.
Rule of thumb: the cost does normally = the outcome
Past Examples:
- DJ doesn’t know what a last private dance is so we have 3 “last dances”
- bar runs out of alcohol 2 hours early and doesn’t go get more
- photographer has never directed family for photos and they take over an hour
- the DJ didn’t listen to the notes about a traditional dance and cut a 30 minute dance to only 5 minutes
- photographer doesn’t have the right camera so the pictures are whitewashed
- vendor makes a derogatory comment about the maid of honors dress
(And so many more stories I’ve heard of)
Disclaimer: If you’re on a tight budget, a corporation, big business or someone newer to the industry might be the best route for you.
BUT please know that just because the company has good reviews and looks good on Instagram does NOT guarantee the vendor you will get will be the same quality
