"About two weeks ago Westampton Township Emergency Services was dispatched to help a mother get her son out of their pool after the hoist they use broke from the concrete. The department responded and was able to help get him out of the pool without injury.

Mom was devastated as she told us how much her son loved to swim; that she had called around to have repairs done to the hoist, but no one could help her.

The shift of firefighter/EMT's knew exactly who to call. Our own Firefighter Jeff DeAngelis went right over to the house to take pictures. Over the next week Jeff had a new base fabricated, figured out a way to make sure it wouldn't break again, and installed it.

We would like to thank Jeff for his hard work and dedication to the residents of Westampton."

Let Them

I just witnessed a boy, maybe about 6 or 7, accidentally spill a slushee everywhere in Target. I didn't get a photo but I'm including one of my son and I. I'm talking blue and red goop all over the floor, the table, everywhere. The boy looked up at who I assume was his father, and immediately apologized. Instead of getting angry, his father just said 'Hey, it happens. Let's go get napkins and I can show you how to clean it up.' Then they calmly went to get napkins and then he helped him clean the entire mess. Then, as they were throwing the napkins away, the father said to his son, 'You're going to be a human being for a long time, and you have such a smart brain that it's important you learn how to be more aware of what you're doing. So next time just be sure to pay more attention to your surroundings so accidents like this don't happen. Accidents like these can be prevented, but it's still okay if they happen. As long as you take responsibility for your mistakes, the clean up is a breeze. I know big messes seem overwhelming and you might feel like you can't do it by yourself, but it's always okay to ask for help. There is no problem with asking for help when you need it.'

During a match, the team from the esteemed Peruvian club Alianza Lima entered the Alejandro Villanueva Stadium, with each player carrying a dog in their arms that was in need of a home. This serves as an excellent way to raise awareness and assist homeless animals in finding their forever homes. It is something that more high-profile athletes should do to effectively promote animal welfare and wellness. I guarantee it would help numerous animals in need to find loving homes which is the ultimate goal. Who agrees??? ❤️🙏🐈‍⬛🐕

Some solid advice from an old man:
1. Live beneath your means.
2. Return everything you borrow.
3. Stop blaming other people.
4. Admit it when you make mistake
5. Give old clothes to charity
6. Do something nice and try not to get caught.
7. Listen more; talk less.
8. Every day take a 30 min. walk.
9. Strive for excellence, not perfection.
10. Be on time, and don’t make excuses.
11. Don’t argue. Get organized.
12. Be kind to unkind people.
13. Let someone cut ahead of you in line or in traffic.
14. Take time to be alone.
15. Cultivate good manners.
16. Be humble.
17. Realize and accept that life isn’t fair.
18. Know when to keep your mouth shut.
19. Go an entire day without criticizing anyone.
20. Learn from the past. Plan for the future.
21. Live in the present.
22. Don’t sweat the small stuff.
