Is it done? Heavens no! Did I buy more yarn to finish it? Yes! Is this as much as I plan to do until the additional yarn arrives- absolutely!

Fifteen hours, one restart, and a thousand options of what I’m doing and I think I know…do you?

I traded the six point to five because it felt better, I don’t have a ton of rainbow yarn left, but I have plans! Stay tuned for what this thing will become…if I don’t change my mind again 🤣

We had a fabulous Mother’s Day weekend seeing friends and family we haven’t seen in a year (or more), but we are finally home and that drive took longer than we expected. Time for regular life to restart!

It’s Mother’s Day Friday, and my husband and I are on our way to marathon the parentals! Working on a hexagonal piece that is going to be a few experimentals.

For a moment, I couldn’t believe the size of this pile. I had to put my hand to it for comparison. Roughly 540 (yes I lost count a few times) blessing tokens made. I have two more months to crank out at least 660 and I still have 11 skeins/cakes of pride yarns. I don’t even know how many skeins I’ve gone through at this point lol

This is a labor of love, truthfully I love making these- but the end is easier to see when it’s a blanket 🤣

Quick - at least for myself and probably MANY more small LGBTQIA2S+ creators- we are in crunch time. Believe it or not, Pride is only a few short weeks away and we are doing EVERYTHING we can to be able to be present at a multitude of events.
What you see here, is only a minor fraction of what I intend to have by the time comes around as I work with Ladies Of the Lakes handing blessing tokens out at their booth. And at a time in the world like where we are currently, Pride events are some of the most needed events possible to remind us of love, connection, and community.

I have recently been getting commission requests- legitimate and fake (and yes I can tell due to previous employment)- so on behalf of ALL small creators, when we say we are not taking commissions until a certain time, please respect that. We appreciate your want to work with us and give us a chance to make something beautiful for you, but don’t be pushy with us. We know what we are capable of, and how much we can hold on our plates.

Much love and peace- but my commissions are closed until July 😘

It’s really amazing what natural light does for the colors of yarn 🥰

The one on the left (the multicolor one) will be available at the Ladies Of the Lakes Easter Bingo next week, lightweight 99.99% cotton, .01% Shae’s hair 😂😂😂 but heavy enough to keep you warm and cozy.

The other is a special gift for a very special someone for Mother’s Day.

So happy that we moved somewhere with clotheslines that I can use for photo shoots and to wash and dry big projects evenly!

! Blanket No. 2 of 2026 is in the bag!

A standard granny rectangle blanket that is one solid piece- with a modified border.

Began on Feb 22 and ended just before 0300 March 10.

Pattern can be found on YouTube, yarns used were Loops & Threads Skyscape Acrylic Blend (Cream & Purple Multi and Purple & Green Multi).

The person getting this is very special to my heart, and as I was working on it, the colors reminded me of my childhood in the gardens that my nana worked so tirelessly to maintain and blend different varieties and colors.

Surprisingly lightweight yarn, but built up and it is WARM!
