Howdy!! We wanted to share a little about us so everyone can know what to expect from D+D in its infancy. We're keeping our offerings simple to start but as we harness our ops and grow with our clients we plan to evolve into the vision we've had for Drift + Dune from its inception. So here's a little about what to expect for now....
WHO: Drift + Dune Design Studio is a small business that not only sources specifically chosen artisan goods but creates pieces in house as well.
WHAT: We offer all goods for retail purchase which can be shipped, dropped off locally(for a modest fee) or picked up. However, we are also a personalized gift wrapping service where we curate gift packaging(i.e., gift boxes, bags, textile wraps, baskets etc)based on your needs. Yes, we will wrap gifts you haven't purchased from us;)
WHY: We want to be a one stop shop and take the inconvenience out of gifting. Gifting tends to lose its luster when you're running around all over town or throughout the inter webs trying to put together meaningful gifts and find packaging you actually love. We found ourselves in this predicament far too many times and want to offer what we were looking for ourselves.
WHERE: D+D will initially launch through Facebook and Instagram. We check our email and DMs daily for any questions or orders. For locals to the Nola and Northshore areas, we have a studio(not brick and mortar) location we will be using in Mandeville for pickup/dropoff if needed. Those details will be arranged and clarified through our messaging. We will operate from our website soon after the new year.
WHEN: As soon as the final shipment meant for our soft launch arrives. You'll be the first to know and it'll be a user friendly process!
HOW: Well, we'll figure this out together! Our service to you is of the utmost importance and that will be our focus. No doubt it will take a bit to work through our process and find our flow. Until our site is up and running, we'll make it work. We feel good about it and we want you to as well!!
