Just wanted to let you know that I will be at the Bismarck market fair this Saturday, April 22nd from 10 until 5. It is at the Burleigh county fair building. Free admission and close parking available. So if you are in need of a unique gift for mother's day or upcoming birthday come check things out. I will have a lots of things to there.

Hey everyone, I just wanted to let you all know that I will be at the Morton Mandan Library on Saturday December 3rd from 10am to 3pm. They are having a craft fair in a meeting room. I know it's the weekend for the Pride of Dakota Holiday Showcase but I won't be there or have any of my products represented there. (The three day show is really hard on me.). So if you are looking for something special come visit me at the library. We do have several bread boards but we will not be making any more before Christmas. So if you are looking for one here is your chance to pick it up. Our prices have not gone up yet but when we have to buy more wood for future boards, there may be an increase, depending on availability and costs. I will also have a few quilts and several other items. Hope to see you there.

A bonus photo for all of you who have been very supportive and kind with your comments...
I was asked several times in the past year, "What is in it for you?" Well, this is what I got...a white elephant quilt made from extra blocks or extra fabric from each of the 52 projects I made during the past year. I got to use up scraps to make something useful. I donated over 30 of the quilts, sold a few to pay for the backing and batting that I had to purchase, and gifted several. And it was very good for my heart. I hope everyone who received one of my quilts enjoys it as much as I enjoyed making it. Enjoy!

I made it. Yeah!! #52 of 52 is a most special quilt. It is called "Jack's Chain" in the quilting world but I call this one "Oliver's Chain" since I made it for my newest grandson, Oliver Wolf. It is a design that caught my eye at a quilt show in Paducah, Kentucky more that 30 years ago. Since then I have made a few quilts using this design and taught it in workshops - and still love it. Welcome to the world Oliver!
