Already posted on the Somerset, WI Community Page but people were unable to share:

I’ll be ridesharing/sober-cabbing tonight and tomorrow night around the Somerset and Stillwater area. Lyft Black SUV only works on the MN side so the app will let me pick you up in MN and drop you off in WI but not vise-versa.

If you’re in Somerset and need a ride, text me at 715-781-1189. I can accept cash, Venmo, cash app, PayPal, etc. Please try Garrett or Brandon or the others first because I don’t want to take any business away from them. I’m sure they’ll be super busy and we’d much rather give a ride than hear of an accident or DWI.

We’ve all been there when the person that is supposed to be our sober cab starts drinking and pretty soon everyone is scrambling to see who is the “least drunk” to drive…. Please, if you say you’re going to be the sober driver, please do that, don’t drink and if you do don’t give the keys to someone that says, I think I’m ok.

Cops will be out in full force, and everyone is counting on their loved ones to make it home safely.

It’s cool to call for a ride. Have fun and end the year on a good note.

I can take some reservations if you know a time to get picked up, dropped off, and picked up again. My vehicle, gas, and RideShare insurance is not cheap, so I probably won’t be the cheapest but it sure beats the alternative. In your Uber or Lyft app, type in your destination and see how much it is for Uber or Lyft Black. I can fit six passengers.

I’ll also try to coordinate with the other drivers to make sure they are getting taken care of first and if one of us gets called, hopefully we can work together to coordinate as many pickups as well can.

So far this year we've raised nearly $16,000 for community beautification projects. Ideas of where the money can be spent (things people can see and appreciate while entering or driving through town), please send ideas to the Somerset Champions Council or Somerset United! Join us this Thursday from 4p-8pm for our first official Somerset Community MarketFest! (in the old Ben's and Archies lot) We currently have over 10 vendors and counting!, (some of the farmers market people won't be ready with their goods until next week), Food, Drinks, Ice Cream, Pizza by the Slice.

Open containers are legal from 4pm-10pm in the 200 block of Main Street and Spring Street. DJ'd music from 4-8pm. Show and Shine Car and Bike Show located in the Rendezvous Lot (Free drink from Rendezvous for anyone that shows their car/truck or custom bike.

It's going to be a beautiful day, please help us make our first official MarketFest a success. Thank you for supporting the local vendors and businesses.
