If you come by Lacy’s you may notice something different about our building, we are the proud recipients of a Texas Historical Marker. This milestone means so much to our family, and we are truly honored to be a part of Texas history in such a lasting way. Hubert and Delores Price bought the store in 1980 from Jack and Velma Lacy and became the fourth generation to run Lacy’s and are still proudly serving Turkey, today!

Seeing this marker placed in front of Lacy Dry Goods is incredibly special to us—it represents not only our past, but the legacy we are proud to carry forward. We are grateful for the opportunity to preserve a piece of history for future generations.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Mike Goldsby for his hard work and support in helping us secure our historical marker.
