Here's another shot I took this evening of the spectacular sunset, and a shot I've never taken in my own town of Monongahela. After capturing a few shots at the corner of 4th Street and West Main Street, I ran over to the corner of Chess Street and 4th Street in front of the Monongahela Post Office. Luckily, the color lingered for a bit longer than I thought it would, so that allowed me to take this three image panorama of the statue in front of the Post Office called "The Hiker", a bronze statue of a US Army soldier of the Spanish American War. This monunement is in honor to those who served in the war against Spain, the Philippines Insurrection, and the millitary campaign in China.

What really makes this shot is the old lamps behind the statue on the Post Office, with the steeple from First United Methodist Church of Monongahela, Rabe's Trading Post, Dusty’s Discounts, and Monongahela Manor in the far right. I can't believe I never thought to capture this shot before, being that this is only two minutes from where I live. Enjoy!
