Our new venture is….. Edible mushroom logs!!!!

Grow your own mushrooms at home! Super easy, next to no care needed. Just a shady spot in your yard, and maybe a little water during dry spells.

In less than a year, your log will start growing mushrooms, that you can harvest every 6-8 weeks! To start we will be offering Sh*take, and Lions Mane varieties, and your logs should produce for 6-8 YEARS.

Keep an eye out for ordering info, and events where we will have a few for sale!

👀Peek-A-Boo! I bloomed for you!

I was propagating sage today, when I reached over to clean up some leaves. Oh! Wait! That’s no leaf! An Ionatha Rubra decided to bloom!

As you can see, before blooming, air plants will show color on their leaves, or “blush.” This is ALL NATURAL, as we will NEVER sell dyed or painted plants.

Some of our Tillandsia Tectorum Ecuador!

Pictured is our very first separated pup, its mother, and a spectacularly extra large specimen currently getting ready to bloom!

We are waiting patiently for the inflorescence(flower stem) to open, so we can show you the lovely lavender flowers. Then soon after that we will have even more pups!

Air plants only bloom ONCE in their entire life, and it doesn’t depend on their size or age! Seeing your plant bloom is literally a once in a lifetime experience!

Welcome to Tilly’s Varied Ventures!

The Tiilandsia(more commonly known as “Air Plants”) bug has bitten, and now we want to share the joy and variety of these simple plants with all of you.

We offer carefully curated aeriums, displays, and holders for your air plants. Or just pick a plant, and all required care implements are included for keeping your new addition growing and happy.

Keep an eye out for us at local craft shows, fairs, festivals, and farmers markets!

From time to time, we will be offering various other items, depending on what other hobbies we are taking a deep dive into at the time. But don’t be alarmed! We are very knowledgeable in anything that we are offering to others.
