I've been busy creating something special for summer—a new patriotic journal with plenty of vintage charm and Americana inspiration.

One of my favorite features so far? This removable decorated cover that can be used as a keepsake piece all on its own. Layers of vintage-inspired papers, patriotic florals, lace, stitching, and a touch of nostalgia make it feel like a treasured piece from another era.

I'm still adding the finishing touches, but I couldn't resist sharing a glimpse of what's in the works!

Over the years, Created in Harmony has allowed me to explore many creative passions—from wreaths and seasonal decor to handcrafted journals and paper treasures.

As my business continues to grow and evolve, I've found myself drawn more and more to the art of storytelling through journals. The vintage papers, fabrics, lace, ephemera, and little details that make each piece unique have truly captured my heart.

Today, I'm excited to share not only a refreshed logo, but also a new direction for Created in Harmony.

While I may still create a special project from time to time, my primary focus will be on handcrafted journals, journal accessories, custom journal creations, and the timeless treasures that inspire creativity and preserve memories.

This new logo represents that journey—one of creativity, stories, beauty, and transformation. 🦋

Well… I took a break from wrestling with Etsy videos today because apparently my journal videos have decided they are far too fabulous (and far too large 😅) for Etsy’s upload limits. 🤦‍♀️📹

So while sorting through old videos, I stumbled across this little beauty I created a couple months ago… this snippet roll! ✨📜

Sometimes the tech side of running a creative business can be frustrating, but finding forgotten creations like this is such a sweet reminder of why I love creating in the first place. 💕

Would anyone love to see more snippet rolls in the shop alongside the journals? 👀

Creating? That’s the fun part. 💛

Sorting vintage treasures, designing journals, tea-dyeing papers, dreaming up new ideas… that fills my creative heart.

Getting the Etsy shop up and running again? Let’s just say that’s a different kind of adventure. 😅

Photos, descriptions, pricing, categories, shipping settings, SEO, figuring out what Etsy changed while I was away… whew.

But progress is happening, even if it feels slower than I’d like.

I’m building something I’m really excited about—more junk journals, destash supplies, and some fun new surprises for Created in Harmony. Thank you for sticking with me while I get all the behind-the-scenes pieces in place.

As we begin to travel and celebrate Memorial Day, this thought came to my mind.

🇺🇸 Memorial Day is more than the unofficial start of summer—it’s a day to remember the brave men and women who gave everything for our freedom.

Today, I’d love to pause and ask:
