๐ฑ Lawn Care Tip ๐ฑ
One of the biggest mistakes homeowners make is mowing their lawn based on their schedule instead of the lawn's schedule.
Grass doesn't grow at the same rate every week. During cooler, wetter periods it may need to be cut every 4-5 days, while during hot summer stretches it may only need mowing every 7-10 days.
When you wait too long between cuts, you're often removing too much of the grass blade at once. This stresses the lawn, causes browning, and can leave your yard looking uneven for days afterward.
A good rule of thumb is to never remove more than 1/3 of the grass blade in a single mowing. Keeping up with growth results in:
โ
A thicker, healthier lawn
โ
Better color and appearance
โ
Fewer w**ds
โ
Less stress on the grass
โ
A cleaner, more professional look
Your lawn doesn't own a calendarโit grows when conditions are right. Paying attention to growth instead of the date on your phone can make a surprising difference in how your yard looks all season long.
