Good morning friends!
I’ve been gone from this account for quite some time. About five years ago, I started Rowdy K. Never did I expect it to grow to the scale it did. As RKB grew, so did the time needed to manage it. During my undergraduate studies it was something I enjoyed. Since starting grad school I no longer had the same passion for it. I will always have a special place in my heart for Native American jewelry and each of my wonderful customers. I hope that each of you decide to join me in this new journey.
I’m grateful to have grown up in a home with a strong faith. On Easter, I received my first communion and was confirmed Catholic. This came after many years of prayer and challenge in finding my church home. Since then I’ve felt God pushing my heart to share not just consume. As I thought about what I might call this I researched words, and learned about ‘Kerygma’. It is Greek for proclaiming. Specifically, it means the initial proclamation or “good news” intended to introduce people to Christ and call them to conversion. When I read that, I knew. When I was still running RKB, I started ‘God Winks’. To share about the little things, to bring a little light into busy days. God Winks was something I really enjoyed and wanted to expand on. So here we are. I’m excited to embark on this project. God Winks will be continuing, as well as a blog and formal posts here. I hope you’ll join me in Radiant Kerygma, shining the light of the good news to others! 🤍
