My grandfather Bill was part of the generation that protected that promise. They were so young. They went anyway.

He came home to Evelyn. They grew roses. They set tables. They lived beautifully.

Today I celebrate them. I celebrate all of us. And I celebrate the freedom to build a life that feels like your own.

Something I’ve been wanting to share for a long time is finally here.

For 26 years I arranged flowers for some of the most beautiful events imaginable — weddings featured in Martha Stewart Weddings and The Knot, installations for Chanel and Louis Vuitton, even four covers of Ceremony Magazine. But honestly, my favorite arrangements were always the simple ones. The ones made from what’s in my own garden, on my own table, for no other reason than because flowers make a moment feel a little more special.

That’s exactly what this workshop is.

I’m teaching two of my favorite techniques — the floral frog method and the chicken wire method — both simple enough for a complete beginner, both techniques you’ll use for the rest of your life. Thirty minutes, two methods, and a complete companion guide with your exact shopping list so you’re not standing in a flower shop wondering where to start.

Sometimes it’s the smallest details that make a gift feel truly special.
In this quick 5-minute tutorial, I’m sharing a simple European-style bouquet wrapping technique that instantly elevates any floral arrangement. I used a beautiful bouquet from French Buckets, but this works just as well with flowers from your local market or Trader Joe’s.
A few sheets of paper, a ribbon, and a thoughtful wrap can transform even the simplest bouquet into something that feels custom, intentional, and gift-worthy.
I especially love pairing wrapped flowers with our Bill & Evelyn picnic baskets for garden gatherings, thoughtful gifts, or leisurely afternoons outdoors.

Spring with Bill and Evelyn has really been about gathering — around tables, around ideas, and around the people we love most. We’ve spent the season teaching floral classes, designing tables, playing with flowers and collected pieces, and creating spaces that feel warm, welcoming, and lived in.

Some of my favourite moments have simply been sitting around a beautifully layered table with friends and family, sharing food, stories, laughter, and slowing down enough to actually enjoy it all. That, to me, is what living beautifully is really about.

This is not just about flowers, but the beauty of creating a meaningful life with your hands.

Bill & Evelyn was inspired by my grandparents, who were effortlessly cool, deeply kind, strong, creative, and full of character. They taught me that beauty lives in everyday things — gathered flowers, a painted chair, a recipe passed down, a thoughtfully set table, and a home filled with stories.
This space will be a collection of little bits and pieces of everything I’ve learned and loved over the years. From basic floral design and painting, to refinishing furniture, creative living, recipes, entertaining, and finding beauty in ordinary moments.
My hope is to share not only skills, but inspiration to create a life that feels personal, timeless, and beautifully lived.

I love Picnic baskets and I love vintage plates and Tablewares. So naturally I collect all these things. I’m imagining the perfect picnic at the perfect beach with someone that I love being around and having beautiful dishes.
