I am based out of Long Beach, CA and can be found at various events throughout Southern California. I enjoy cooking and sharing delectable treats, that bring what is now coined "Oralgasms". My story starts out "One day at Ren Faire..." I wanted to make a special treat that I could share with my friends at Faire. The first appearance of Chocolate Irish Cream fudge was in May, 2012. I must have roll
ed about 100 bite-sized fudge balls which got rave reviews and lots of teasing about Sweddy Balls and Chef's Chocolate Balls. The following week I made Chocolate Irish Cream, Banana and Butterscotch fudge and cut them in what people have said to be "The perfect sized". At first, I thought one flavor would go faster than the other, but as the day/weekend progressed each person declared "This is my favorite" pointing to a different one from the last person. I enjoyed the look of sheer bliss and giddiness of who loved the Butterscotch and Banana fudge as memories of childhood graced their face. "This tastes just like Laffy Taffy or banana Runts" was a common occurrence. Then the common consensus was that I should sell it. Besides the Ren Faire, I have a big gamer following since I attend Strategicon three times a year. It was my love for this crowd that Fudge Fuzion became the perfect name. Each part of the name is a gaming platform in RPGs and my fudge is fused or "infused" with alcohol. It really isn't that boozy, less than a shot per pound but it is a fun crowd pleaser and what I choose to specialize in. Over a year later, I have made 21 different flavors of fudge, created chocolate covered truffles, specialty peanut butter cups and fudge sauce. I now have a chocolate vegan fudge that does not contain nuts or dairy and may expand that line to include non-chocolate flavors. There are still more flavors in the works and occasionally do special orders (occasionally fudge without booze). I make appearances at various conventions, have catered a wedding, art openings and a Mother's day function. Always a hit at any potluck. I am pleased to be know as the Fudge Lady.
