I just added my copy of Hunger - Strictly From Hunger to the Vinyl Piper shop.

1969 US original
This is one of those late-60s underground psych records that lives in that weird space between garage, hard rock, organ-heavy psych, and the early West Coast heavy sound.
Hunger had Portland roots, but this album was recorded in California in 1968 and released on the short-lived Public! label. If you know the record, you already know this one does not turn up often.
Heavy organ, fuzz guitar, raw vocals, and that slightly unstable private-label energy that makes these records so addictive.
I recently upgraded my copy, so this one is ready to move on to another collection.
