Why am I so out of breath in this video 😭. Maybe it’s just nerves from public speaking or feeling overwhelmed—but truly, thank you everyone for bearing with me as I finish getting everything listed in the shop. Hello, August!!! 💛 I’ve been eagerly waiting for this month to arrive with the to look forward to. The summer newspaper has been sent off to the printers and I am now simply trying to contain all the excitement counting down for Mushroom Cat’s arrival! THANK YOU 🥲 who continues to shower my little shop with support even though this event is really about welcoming Harumi and giving her the spotlight to meet her fans who adore her work. Obsessed with this FOOD 2024 book! This is an art book filled with food (of course!) but what makes it so special is that it highlights works of various illustrators. Flipping through it feels like a virtual art gallery! I jumped to preorder this book because of Fumi — someone I met at the SF Pen Show last year. We didn’t know eachother, but she visited my table and introduced herself, smiling that we both have similar account handle name — hers being Color Treats . Then she pulled out her journal to show me all the travel and food pages she drew and I was 🤯🤯🤯. I’ve been a fan of her account ever since, but little did I know that her work was selected and featured in this publication! I was so excited to support and get this book. If we ever meet again, Fumi san, I hope that you can sign it! 💛
