The cats have convened. They have reviewed your home decor. They are not impressed. Until now.

This hand-stitched cross-shaped wall shrine is here to give your feline overlords the reverence they have always deserved. Featuring a rotating cast of Very Important Cats — including one wearing a crown (obviously), a whole tower of cats doing their best, and one sitting inside the moon because that is simply where they belong — this little altar is packed with chaotic, joyful, deeply unhinged cat energy.

Made from a patchwork of galaxy fabric, sage velvet, golden yellow, and dark teal, with a hand-appliquéd ladybug circle at the center for reasons that feel correct. Tiny silver bells dangle from each arm of the cross so it jingles when the real cats inevitably bat at it. A blue ribbon loop at the top means you can hang it wherever the cats allow you to put things.

Is it a shrine? Is it art? Is it a love letter to every cat who has ever knocked something off a shelf and walked away? Yes. Hang it above your cat's food station, your bed, your desk, or anywhere you need a little reminder that the cats are watching and they are judging.

Made this pocket shrine for a friend whose favorite goddess is Hecate— Greek goddess of magic, the crossroads, night, and the underworld. She is a totem for women who can relate to having been to hell and back, and who now guide others through their own darkness. Also, the pin in the center is detachable! Hecate is oft connected to images of black dogs.
