A Heartfelt Thank You to My Cousins, Vicki & Ben Robbins

This photo is extra special to our family. From left to right are Gus (Cammie’s brother from the first litter), Koda (mom), and Abel (dad). Our boy Onyx came from Koda and Abel’s third litter a few years later, making Cammie and Onyx full siblings born years apart.

I want to take a moment to thank my cousins, Vicki and Ben Robbins., for the incredible generosity they showed our family. When they were raising these beautiful German Shepherds, their puppies were selling for $1,000 each, yet they allowed us to have pick of the litter not once, but twice—and they gifted both puppies to us.

Because of their kindness, we were blessed with Cammie and later Onyx, two dogs that have become a huge part of our lives. They are family members, loyal companions, and the inspiration behind much of what we do with Bannister’s Dog Chews.

The bond we share with these dogs is something that can’t be measured in dollars. It’s built on years of memories, adventures, laughter, and unconditional love. None of that would have been possible without Vicki and Ben’s generosity and trust.

We will always be grateful for the gift they gave us and for the amazing bloodline they worked so hard to produce. Every day we look at Cammie and Onyx and are reminded how lucky we are.

Thank you, Vicki and Ben. Your kindness has meant more to our family than you’ll ever know.
