It's that time of year again! I am looking for Lisbon High School scholarship applicants for our Rondo's Opus scholarship. If you are going to further your education this fall in music (teaching, recording or performance), psychology, counseling or any area of mental health, we want to help you pay for school!

All I need is a one-pager on the importance music has on our mental health and bonus points for what we can do to help end the mental health stigma in rural communities.

An emotional weekend to say the least. I’m really proud of what I built here. It sure hit me as I was moving my things out today. Over three years in this room where I taught thousands of lessons to the greatest students I could ask for.

Please know that Rondo’s Opus is NOT closing. My store is closed but I can still find you the perfect guitar, change your strings and teach you how to play. Send me a message if you would like to get on my waitlist. Thank you for your support!

Here's an old picture of me with my oldest son, now a senior at LHS. Writing a song called Rezil if I recall correctly.

Now that I have ya, Just wanted to give an update regarding the future of Rondo’s Opus.

As you probably know by now, I am closing my retail store at the end of this year. Bummer? Yes, but no regrets. You never know what the future will bring.

For now, though, I need to focus on my strengths, not my weaknesses and what I’m good at is playing this guitar and teaching kids, so that’s what we’ll keep doing.

I am thrilled!!😁 to announce that I will continue teaching guitar lessons for our community and beyond. Stay tuned for the location but we will probably get going again in January.

I will continue to sell accessories, and I can order guitars, do string changes, neck adjustments etc.

Here are the remaining guitars I have for sale in my shop. These would make great holiday or birthday gifts. Almost everything is $200 off. **Once my store closes on 12/31, Rondo’s Opus will still be able to order guitars and we will continue to sell accessories.
