Today across from the bookstore!

*****EDIT: IF THE GROUND HASN'T DRIED ENOUGH, WE WILL HEAD INDOORS FOR AN ACOUSTIC AFTERNOON WITH WALNUT CREEK!!!

It looks like the weather is going to cooperate this afternoon and our guest Bluegrass band, Walnut Creek, will take the "stage" at 3pm!

A few details:
*The portion of Pekin Street between the Carnegie Building and Latham Park will be CLOSED this afternoon, beginning at 1pm.
* The band will be playing from the top of the steps at the Carnegie. Feel free to set up chairs and blankets anywhere in the lawn area below.
*There will be a light snack and bottled water available for purchase on site. Feel free to bring your own snacks, too!
*We have some lawn games (Cornhole/Bags, Lawn Tic-Tac-Toe, Giant Jenga, and Connect 4) that will be set up in the street to be (respectfully) enjoyed during the concert.
*Stop by the book table to grab a book to browse during the concert. You can also SIGN UP FOR A NEW LIBRARY CARD at the book table!

It’s a beautiful day to shop downtown Lincoln and take 20% OFF ALL NEW HARDCOVERS (even new releases out this week!). Saturday (6/13) only.

We have limited numbers of the books in store this week and more will arrive early next week, so stop in or let us know if you'd like to preorder the copies coming in next week!

Our already loved book section is restocked with great hardcover and paperback options. If you haven’t browsed them lately, now is the time!

And yes, we take book donations. Up to 10 books at a time, any genre. We cannot accept decommissioned library books, advance review copies, or textbooks though. We offer a 10% off coupon for your next purchase in exchange for the donation.

Anyone out there ready to part with picture books? We’d love to have more of a used picture book selection for customers! (But we don’t blame you for holding onto them.)
