My heart is so full this week! ❤️
On Monday I had lunch with two dear friends who were part of the very beginning of my teaching journey 35 years ago! Jerri Forden Henschen taught MS Fine Arts and I taught MS Language Arts. We had such great times together! Diane babysat my kids and took the greatest care of them! I will forever be grateful that God placed each of these ladies in my life. ❤️
On Tuesday I helped surprise a sweet friend as she begins a new chapter. Brittany Wrigley has been one of my very closest friends for the past 6 years that she has taught in my current district. I’m so sad that she’s leaving, but am so grateful for the time we had together. I know God has great plans for her. I love this picture because it shows so many reminders of God’s hands at work. These are some amazing, thoughtful, hilarious, loyal, prayer warrior friends. ❤️
It wasn’t planned this way, but I love the symmetry of it all - celebrating friendships from both the beginning and the end of a career that has blessed my life in so many ways.
I am grateful for the people God has placed in my path over the years. Friendships like these are one of the greatest gifts teaching has given me. ❤️ So grateful for every one of my friendships!
