Please read: I gave my website a slight refresh and changed some things. I had my shipping at a reduced rate when you spent a certain $ amount — I've now changed it to be slightly more (+55¢) of that reduced rate on ALL orders and FREE for orders $100+. Shipping ain't cheap, it's costing me a bit, but I want you to have access to my soaps.
As many of you know from the various articles in our local newspaper and from all the talk on social media, Ligonier Country Market remains unhoused at the moment. I cannot speculate nor do I know what the outcome will be for this cherished market, but I will tell you that I pulled out and requested a refund for my planned 2026 market season. I just couldn't take the on-again, off-again location change that was happening. I feel for everyone involved, especially the farmers, since even though it was called a country market — I always considered it a 'farmer's market' [albeit in recent years a farmer's market that expanded beyond the norm..... but alas, I digress]
Also, not my norm, but you will start to see an uptick in my usage of fragrance oils. Two reasons: ONE, essential oils have holy heck gone up in price. The patchouli EO I usually buy went from $46 to $180 and TWO a local soap maker is closing and I purchased a large (for minimalist me standards) quantity of her fragrance oils. This latest soap update is made using mostly them to test them out and uh, I really like them! Fragrance oils are actually sometimes better to use on the skin than EO. Certain EO can be irritating to the skin at higher amounts and with your skin being warm from the hot water.....blah blah....my kids are asking what's for dinner so I'm ending my thoughts there! love yinz!! 😍😜
