If you have visited The Gothicary chances are you’ve met Jane, who happens to be one of the very first employees Rachel hired for the store. Jane will be leaving us in a few days and will be heading to Virginia Tech to start her freshman year. As much as Rachel and I are sad to see her leave, we wish her good luck and hope she knows she always has a home at The Gothicary.

A peek behind the Velvet Curtain: Doug and I fell in love over crystals. They say crystals are the gateway drug to this lifestyle (they are correct). Over 2 years later we’ve got an entire space dedicated to crystals, Doug’s massive tarot collection, my goddess altars, and special pieces of wonderment we’ve picked up on our trips. As for me, I saw they’ll be selling records and CDs for $3.00. So if someone could set aside any Bay City Roller and KC And The Sunshine Band albums aside for me, I’d appreciate it. Thanks….
