Bonjour mes amis! ❤️ I am back from another long Instagram hiatus - it's hard to believe that I haven't posted anything since February! During the pandemic my husband and I chose to homeschool our three boys, and that obviously took priority over social media. 😬 Between taking care of my family and my clients during the wedding boom of 2021, this year has been insane - but in the very best way possible! My boys started back at school last week and I'm starting to dig myself out of the trenches and get back to other parts of Margaux Paperie that have been put on the back burner. I'm really looking forward to sharing more of my life and what I'm working on!
I don't actually think I've ever done a proper introduction, so here goes! My name is Maggie Jones, and I have been married to my amazing husband Sam for eight years. We have three boys, including a set of twins! We live west of St. Louis out in the country - I was raised on a farm and still love the slower pace of a small town versus a big city - unless it's Paris, of course! It's my favorite place in the world, and we are planning our fourth trip there next month and I don't think I could possibly be more excited to go! My degree is in Interior Design, but I am a self-taught wedding stationer. I started Margaux Paperie when our oldest Oliver was only about 4 months old, when I realized that starting my own business was the answer to my prayers. I knew I didn't want to make the hour-long commute to the city and back anymore for my design position and be so far away from him every day, so I got to work on creating something that I could do from home alongside my family. Two years ago I was able to quit my job and go full-time with Margaux Paperie, and I've been so incredibly happy since then! I absolutely love working in the wedding industry, and I have the sweetest clients in the world - I couldn't ask for anything better!
