A little encouragement for your day 🐝

As many of you know I have gone through a pretty rough year. I have gone through some major life changes that I did not expect to ever happen. There are some battles I fight that I’ve fought for 5+ years, and to be honest - it is absolutely exhausting. There are times I question why God led me to owning a food truck knowing I am already stretched thin - because whew it is so tiring owning and running a business, being a mama, maintaining a household, and trying to just survive every day life, BUT then there are days like today.

The Anniston star called me this morning to let me know I placed top 3 in 2 categories for Readers Choice Awards. The man on the phone said something to be that truly spoke way deeper than he even realized. He said “you truly should be so proud of yourself because you were competing against 35 - 40 coffee shops, and to come in the top 3 is absolutely unreal and speaks volumes about your business.” He said “then to also do it in food truck category as a beverage trailer is truly an honor.”

Right then, I saw it. I saw why God placed me here. I saw why I run and run and run and bust my butt every day. I saw the work of God shine this morning. It was immediate that I heard Him say “see, this is why”. It truly is an honor. It is an honor to serve people every day. It is an honor to do my best at being the hands and feet of Jesus in a little trailer that I pull behind my car. It is an honor to be known and supported by so many in my community. It is an honor to be chosen by Christ to serve exactly where He has placed me. It is an honor to have a business that supports my home and my kids. It is an honor to wake up every day knowing I am exactly where I am meant to be.

To each and every one of you that not only voted for me on paper, but root for me every day, show up, follow my page so you can be sure to catch where I am, share my post, post your drinks to get the word out, pray for me, love me, and support me no matter what - thank you.
