“Last Hummingbirds of Summer” Hummingbirds are the smallest birds found on 🌎 with the bee hummingbird being the smallest species. Found exclusively in the Western Hemisphere, they are able to survive below freezing temperatures, however with the changing of the seasons many species migrate to the south of us to in Southern Mexico, Central America and in and around the Amazon. Contained within the arrangement are stems of “birds of paradise” manipulated to look like hummingbirds (one of my new favorite items to manipulate) in an assortment of Spring & Summer seasonal floral with stems of Autumn floral beginning to dominate. Originally created as a “Custom Birthday Arrangement” for a very special and important person, this no doubt will be a new favorite with the strikingly contrast and “like-colored” combination of colors. Beginning now through the end of October are my personal favorite times of the year, especially working with floral. The weather along with the array of colors and hues of floral that are found in and around Autumn are so distinct and unique and cannot be found during any other time of the year, makes it just that more special.
