Had some extra hamburger buns from so I decided to turn them into a delicious mashup of French Toast and Bread Pudding.

Thanksgiving Day. My classic Cajun blackened turkey 🦃 and the usual pies 🥧 Probably the least stressful thanksgiving ever. It was a gift.

Scratch made Belgian waffles before some Thanksgiving prep!

Here’s the recipe:

1 3/4 C Flour
1 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1/4 tsp Salt

2 C Buttermilk
2 Eggs
1 tsp Vanilla

Mix dry ingredients. Whisk together wet ingredients.
Add wet to dry. Mix until combined. Heat and grease your waffle iron, and cook until desired crispness. Top with what you like and enjoy ☺️
