Tonight I was exhausted and just needed to retreat by myself. For my dinner, I popped some organic popcorn, one of my favorite snacks, and didn’t hold back on the grass fed butter 🤭. I love to season it with our ranch mix or nutritional yeast flakes. I then peeled an orange and off to my bedroom I went to watch a movie and do some work too.
🧂 Some of you have told me that you put our ranch mix on cottage cheese, popcorn, and on potatoes.
❓How else do you use our ranch mix?

I love that it is easy to make, a great dry packet to have on hand for when you want great ranch, and it’s so versatile 😊

The school year is coming to an end and as summer begins schedules get busier than normal. So we will put Cheers Night on hold for a few months until school is back in session. Top of the mornin’ to ya! It may only be 5:15 AM, but look at this beautiful sky already!!! Fridays are our early days when we open at 7 AM. Although it is hard to get out of bed early, I’m so glad this was our early day so I can see this beautiful sky. When I got to work, as I closed the door behind me, I took a moment to pause and look up and saw this gorgeous view! It got me thinking of the importance of pausing and looking up and around. I am usually in a hurry in life to hustle and get things done; and that can sometimes be less fun. So this morning, I’m pausing, breathing deep, and looking around to truly see the blessings right in front of me! I hope today, you take time to pause, reflect, and smell those beautiful proverbial roses 🌹! And may we see how truly blessed we really are! ❤️.

Listening to health podcasts has taught me that it’s so important to have eaten breakfast before having your morning coffee or if you do intermittent fasting, eat whatever meal that maybe before consuming coffee. I love a good cup of deliciousness but I don’t want to have the negative effect of drinking it on an empty stomach, so I make sure to have a protein shake or a yogurt parfait for breakfast and then I enjoy my cup of goodness guilt free. For those of you who would like to do the same when you’re on the go, we have you covered at The Willow Where Our Roots Began. There are so many of you lovely people who share about The Willow with others; and WE ARE SO GRATEFUL! Thank you 🙏. One of our regulars said she needs an “Ambassador” shirt because she tells everyone. So we custom made one for her! And it got me thinking 🤔, maybe other people would want branded Willow shirts with the word Ambassador on the back. But I wanted to throw it out there and have you help me decide. I always love learning more about people and their interests. What do you do for fun/relaxation?

Last month, Clinton and I went to Horrocks for a date night, and after we ate, we decided to walk around. I spotted this puzzle. I’ve always wanted to visit Greece, so I picked it up for something for us to do together, and for me to “see” a piece of Greece until I get there. Normally, my relaxation activity of choice is knitting, but lately I’ve been drawn to the puzzle instead. Tonight, I completed the water and mountain section all on my own— and I’m pretty proud of it because normally I give up on puzzles 🤣.

However, I do fear that this brand new puzzle is missing a piece and that’s going to drive this perfectionist crazy 🤪 You see the spot for the missing piece?

Our sweet daughter is an incredible artist! She creates in many beautiful ways and I’m always in awe of her talent! For Mother’s Day, she surprised me with this pair of earrings that she crafted herself. Not only are they beautiful and fun, but she used hypoallergenic hooks as my ears are super sensitive. And what I love most is that it’s a piece of her creativity that I can add to my day! At The Willow Where Our Roots Began, each of our family members contributes to making our family business world go round. We may be known as a cafe but we also are a small boutique- and that’s where you can find our daughter’s beautiful work. From key chains, to genuine leather earrings, epoxy earrings, and even original canvases! We’d love for you to encourage her when you come in with your kind words, and if you see beauty in what she has created, you too can own some of it 🤩🩷
