Jim Tsuda fished with me on Tuesday.

What a difference a day makes. Monday morning was really slow for Allen Hughes, Tobin Williams and me, we only caught one small fish all morning.

Jim and I had a totally different day yesterday. I told Jim on Monday afternoon that the fish didn't usually have lockjaw two days straight. I love it when I'm actual correct, once in a while!

We caught a nice striper in the no wake area then went around a couple times and caught some small ones there too.

We picked up fish trolling big lures down 35 to 50 foot in a few places.

I didn't see as many fish on the fish finders as I saw on Monday but the ones that were there were biting.

The weather was supposed to be partly cloudy but the Sun never actually got all way through the clouds. There were areas that were brighter but the weren't lit up

We kept 8 fish. We were going to let that smaller one go but it had passed out in the fish hold, so I'm having it for lunch today!

We tossed 3 or 4 smaller striper too.

Joe Kamalmazyan, his Dad Steve and cousin Jack fished with me on Saturday morning.
We caught fish coming out of the gate (5mph area) and had a slow pick on decent fish.
The highlight of the day was Joe and Jack landing a double, two nice fish.
We only fished 4 hours landed 4 nice striper.
It was a good day!

Matthew Hwang and Victoria Miller fished Pyramid Lake, CA with me today.
The lake opened at 6am. That s big upgrade over opening at 7am. We got on the morning bite on the way out of the no wake area with a little striper. We went back around and picked up a 6½ pounder.
The second spot that we tried didn't have anyone home but the third produced a fish after a couple passes.
We had a good day out there. We caught 8 but tossed one little one and told it to go get it's Mom The first one was the big one.

The guys who fished with me today asked me not to post pictures of them on social media.
We had a good day!
WHAT A DIFFERENCE A DAY MAKES!
We caught a little one right as we started fishing then right after that a nicer one. It was a little over 4lb. They couldn't figure out why I wasn't all happy about that one. They soon figured it out though.
We tried s spot after spot and caugh fish in lots of them. We got fish in places that haven't been holding fish for weeks.
What a good day!

I'm so busy in the beginning of May that I can't do trips but give me a call to book trips in the end of May and in June.
