So about a year or so ago I seen a post about a dragon tree … HOW FLIPPING COOL I want to go ! So I looked it up and well it’s in Spain😔 hmmm well dont guess I will get to see it .. then I kept digging and digging and found that there was in fact right here in these wonderful Appalachian mountains a dragon tree …where in the world is it? Couldn’t figure it out .. so after seeing someone I know go there I asked her 😉she gave me very good directions on how to get there… turns out it’s a spot the hubby and I have seen multiple people at and wondered what so many was there for …we had actually said we need to stop here one day and check it out … well our adventure in fact took us there best part of all I got to go see it on Halloween 🎃 thank you Tracy Morris for the directions ( can you imagine I have more pictures to add lol took more on camera will get them uploaded soon)

A total of 21 wildflowers I seen yesterday while hiking.. ok well I am counting trilliums 3 times lol seen 3 different colors .. I looked them all up on my app identification

So good to get out yesterday and get some miles under these feet !! Took both my girls with me for the first time and they did amazingly well !! Willow is still super hyper but ivys calm nature helps her to settle down . Within 5 minutes of getting on the trail they both were in a grove with me and each other and we had barely any issues hiking . I was even able to let Willow off her leash for a bit and she stayed fairly close to us , came back when called to be hooked back up …. Now hopefully she will be just as good off the leash when people are added to the mix… super excited for hiking adventures with these 2 pretty girls
