Liberty Head 'V' nickel (1883-1913) date scarcity: 1885 and 1886 are tough. 1912-S is the key. 1913 is famously the 5-known unobtainium. Even worn examples of the tough dates carry premium. Don't dismiss a circulated V nickel without checking the date.
