Glorious Autumn is upon us! It’s time for a fall tea event at Uptown Country Decor and Furniture Saturday, October 5. Spiced Pumpkin, Harvest Apple, S’Mores & Sweet Dreams Chamomile will be featured from 12:00 to 2:00. Enjoy a ginger cookie with Sisters delicious lemon curd recipe.

I love having tea out of doors in the spring. My front porch is the perfect place. I just gather all my prettiest plates and teacups, sweetest table cover and set up a little table. Everything in the yard is so green and fresh, making a perfect backdrop. The last time I made tea sandwiches and tiny sweets, I put the extras in a plastic freezer bag with a damp paper towel and popped them in the freezer. So all I have to do is thaw them in the fridge. A fresh batch of scones is always a good idea, hubby likes them any time. Set the table, invite a friend or two and have a delightful tea time.
