Education means a brighter
future for our children in Uganda.
In memory of our showcased
author Decarmen’s precious daughter Melany.
Words Unite Bookstore would like to dedicate this Books for a Cause
Sponsorship level to the build a library in Melany’s honor providing
books for children in Uganda.
Education is the foundation to making a change.
They are currently sending the children to the local community school.
However, it is a future goal of theirs to build classrooms on-site so that
the children can go to school in a more convenient location with a
library of quality reading material.

Melany Mitnaul was laid to rest in April 2023. She was 8 years old, she such a light in this world and she absolutely loved books. She was in the library like at 9 months and she was turning pages 📃 so fascinated by each book. She loved books and would want to go to Barnes and Nobles. She would always want to read a few books before bed. She also, was excited to go to Uganda, in November 2022. The car accident happened in September 2022. She was passionate about the kids in Africa and would help fundraise for the cause in Uganda. 🇺🇬 So, we would like to honor her by building a library 📚 in Uganda 🇺🇬. The building of the library an has started and the foundation has been set.
