One day I’ll get better a taking video of our fun prep days. I guess we just get caught up in the process and forget to hit that record button. 🫣 But we’ve been prepping and laughing and having a good time behind the scenes.

Okay - finally announcing our FOODIE series for the summer. We are so excited about this!

If you have an aspiring little chef or just a child who loves to try new foods - this is for you!

WEEK ONE: PLAYING WITH FOOD - Seasonal Fruit Mandalas + Lemonade Bar
WEEK TWO: FIESTA FUN - Corn Cakes + DIY Salsa Bar
WEEK THREE: EAT THE RAINBOW - Summer Veggie Grain Bowl
WEEK FOUR: CELEBRATE SUMMER - Ice Cream Social

Each session, children should expect:
🍑Explore seasonal fruits and veggies using our senses
📝Follow a recipe as well as write their own custom recipes
🌽Create a tasty dish they can be proud of
🍽️Enjoy a meal together
🎨Follow up with a craft related to the food experience

Free choice art days can be tricky but they never disappoint! This young artist chose a gorgeous landscape painting from an art magazine as her inspiration. She chose her colors, her brushes & her easel then set to work. 100% her work and it’s so pretty. I think she was pretty dang proud when she left. ☺️

I know people have opinions about artists replicating other artists work and using inspo pics. It’s copying.🤔 But for children- I think it’s so helpful. It’s a chance to be inspired, challenge themselves, try new techniques, & feel success!

Thank you for joining us for the sweetest Tea Party. We know it’s not easy finding three hours to pour into yourself, sit down and create, converse with other women, but you did! 🙌 AND I’m sure you had mouths to feed or laundry to do when you got back home - so thank you 😊 for spending an afternoon with us!
