er forget! From beginning anglers to the most savvy, we cater our trips to anglers of all skill levels! Our Kenai Fishing Season consists of 125 days every year, starting May 16th and lasting all the way until September 15th. We offer both Full Day Guided Fishing Trips, along with Half Day Guided Fishing Trips. Half day trips have two start times to choose from; 5am and 3pm.

And then we wonder where all of our Salmon & Steelhead go! As most of you know, we don’t generally post anything like this, but this one just slipped. Literally hundreds of sea lions right in front of the Camas marina and Sandy River

Just a little FYI, in case you didn’t know…
Sea lions feeding in the Columbia River—especially near Bonneville Dam—can eat a surprisingly large number of fish each day, but the exact amount varies depending on the season and what fish are running.

How many fish per day
• Biologists estimate a typical sea lion at the dam eats about 3–5 salmon per day on average. 
• During heavy runs when fish are concentrated near fish ladders, individual animals can sometimes eat more than that because prey is extremely easy to catch.
