October 1st! Must be time for Halloween stitching. 🎃 We'll be getting in the spirit here at the Homestead this Friday & Saturday (Oct. 3rd & 4th) from 9 - 5 each day.

What a great weekend! Thanks to everyone who stopped by the Homestead for our last "Quilts on the Porch". I loved seeing everyone! Now it's time to pack up everything and head to the Quilt-A-Fair quilt show in Longmont, Colorado. This is a wonderful show - if you're in the neighborhood, stop in and find us in booth 1006-1007. What’s going on this week? A lot! First – here at the Homestead – we’re having our annual “Quilts On The Porch” sale. This is a fun event every year, and this year we have more! In addition to quilts for sale on the porch, we’ll be adding a great assortment of surprises - $2.00 fat quarters, antiques, a library of quilt books, and more. Plus 10% off fabric and antiques inside the store. How ‘bout that! For those of you not in our area, we’ll continue the free shipping special throughout this week as well. The August Newsletter is going out today. I'm featuring a new little quilt called "Autumn Nights". I've used the beautiful fall shades of cheddar to black from Pam Buda's Cheddar & Coal II collection along with the coordinating ivory print to give the feel of an autumn night sky filled with little twinkling stars.
