Self-care isn't always bubble baths and face masks. 🛁 Sometimes it’s sitting in your car in the driveway because the house is too loud. It’s a granola bar for lunch because you forgot to eat, and tiny sips of water because it’s all you can manage.

Today in the mirror I caught a glimpse of a wrinkle that was a little longer and deeper than before and honestly in that moment it brought me so much joy as flashes of all of my happiest moments came flooding in. Because I knew how those specific wrinkles were made.

I’ve had days that I didn’t think I would survive and it’s beautiful to have these reminders on my face of all the days I wasn’t surviving but was living.

I hope this will be a reminder for you to embrace every part of your story
as messy and as hard as it gets sometimes all it takes is one small perspective shift.
