That one time…in Indian Rocks Beach…

The kids were at sleepaway camp, the hubs and I decided we needed a change of scenery. On the road to the west coast, from Jax Beach, we went!

I fished the back dock with half dead, baby shrimp. He rolled up with our dinner as I’m screaming from the back. He seemed to be in no hurry, maybe sometimes I exaggerate what I’ve got with the amount of excitement I have🤣🤷‍♀️

After a day of nothing, this Hoss was hanging out a few docks down. Typical black drum bite, two taps and hunkered down. Set my hook and screamed from the dock like a 9 year old who caught her first 5lb bass🤣

It’s never so much about what you come home with…fishing is like hope. No matter if I’ve casted 200 times, switched my bait and tackle- that next cast will Always be the one you’ve been waiting for. It’s pretty awesome that the things that can make us smile most are the things we have been gifted, by Him.
